誰に影響受けたとか、どのバンド直系だとか、主義主張、メッセージ性そんなことばかりに頭でっかちなってるバンドと比べたら、いかにこのバンドが潔くてハードコアパンク愛に溢れているか一聴すればすぐわかる。限られたコード進行と限られたリフをパズルのピースのように組み合わせることしかできないハードコアパンク暗黙の掟の中で見事なパズルを完成させていると思う。
JAYBIRDに乗った日本人3人がアメリカ東海岸で1人のアメリカ人を後ろに乗せてから西海岸のハモサビーチに降り立ったような、そう、ティミー・チャンクスとキース・モリスがタッグを組んでTHE CHURCHでプレイしてるようなサウンド（妄想）。僕は妄想や想像力をかきたたせてくれるハードコアパンクしか好きじゃないから、GIRL COPSはまさにツボ。ずっとファンでいてたいな。
